A very good morning to the respected principal, teachers, parents and my dear friends, first of all, I wish you all the teachers a very happy Teachers Day.
My name is (------------)I am standing here to deliver a speech about Teachers Day.
Friends, we know that today we are present here to celebrate the great occasion of Teachers Day. On this day we celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. His birth day is celebrated as ' Teachers Day ' Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was the sencond President of our country and a great teacher.
Friends, Teachers are an important part of our life. They not only teach but also strenthen our confidence. We can not imagine a happy life without teachers. They are the ones who give the right direction to the students life. We cannot reach the pinnacle of success without the guidence of the teachers. They not only teach bookish knowledge but also teach art of living. They shapes the lives of students.
A teacher is a person who bring students from the darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge. It is truly said that teachers are like back bone of our society. They play a vital role in building up the strong character and shaping the ideal society. They always teach us the importance of education in our life through their continuous efforts.
I want to tell you that if you want to succed in life, you have to obey the teachers.
